Are your records actually in stock?
Yes! Our website will only allow you to order vinyl that's in our physical store and ready to pack and ship! If a record is out of stock it will be shown as such.
What are your postage/shipping charges?
Swell Sounds Records charge a simple postage fee of $9.90 regardless of the size of your order. We have also introduced the option of Express Post for a flat cost of $19.90 regardless of the order size.
How is my order sent?
All orders within Australia are sent by Australia Post - Parcel Post or Express Post when this option is selected at checkout. International orders are sent by Australia Post.
When will I receive my order?
Delivery times are at the mercy of Australia Post however we generally find the majority of our orders are received within 3 days after posting in WA and 7 days after posting for all other states. This can be longer over particularly busy mailing periods such as Christmas. When Express Post option is used delivery time is usually 2 days after posting in WA and 3 or 4 days after posting to all other states.
Can I track my order through Australia Post?
Yes, once your order has been sent by us we will send you a confirmation email and an Australia Post tracking number to enable you to see your order's progress in getting to you.
How securely packaged will my order be?
We send all orders in specially designed strong LP mailers. These mailers are designed to withstand the rough & tumble of the post and do an excellent job of ensuring your order is received in pristine condition. We also add extra cardboard packers within the LP mailers as required to further protect your order.
All other products purchased from our website are sent in equally secure boxes or mailer bags as appropriate.
What is your returns policy?
An item can be returned should it be faulty or not what you ordered. Return requests must be made within 14 days of you receiving your order. In the first instance contact us by email setting out the reason for your return request and we will contact you with our return procedure.
Items cannot be returned should you change your mind or decide you don't like it so please make your selections carefully.
Where do you source your extensive catalogue of vinyl?
We deal directly with all major record labels in Australia and also with most of the smaller Australian labels/distributors. We also deal with the major distributors and receive stock constantly from Holland, UK, USA and Canada.
Are you an actual physical store?
Yes, we have been trading for over 29 years and operate from our "bricks & mortar" store, Swell Sounds Records, Brackenridge Village, Shop 5, 1 Soldiers Road (Cnr Brookton Hwy), Roleystone WA so if you're ever visiting be sure to pop in & say hello!
